Call for applications to our Community Involvement project(s) fund

(Open to HPRU BSE researchers only)

We are pleased to invite expressions of interest from our affiliated researchers for the NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in Behavioural Science and Evaluation at University of Bristol (HPRU BSE) Community Involvement research fund.

We are launching the community involvement fund to provide our researchers with access to additional support in the development of their community involvement projects that align to the unit’s research priorities.

The HPRU BSE is launching this scheme in recognition that some of our researchers would benefit from additional support to help them develop community engagement and involvement activities, and that some additional financial and practical resources would enable them to do so.

You are welcome to apply for funding support in the order of £2,000 to £10,000, as dictated by the needs of your project.

Deadline for submissions

For this call, we ask that applications are submitted by 12:00 noon on 30 April 2021.

Review of applications and decisions

Applications will be reviewed by a panel of HPRU BSE staff and members of the HPRU Public Advisory Group. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by 28 May 2021.

Please contact Gemma Lasseter or Noreen Hopewell-Kelly if you would like to discuss the development of your ideas or application.
