Professional background

Prior to beginning my PhD I was a Research Assistant in the Centre for Medical Informatics at the University of Edinburgh.

Project

Modelling HCV infection and treatment impact through serological surveillance data

In this project I will build on previous work to adapt existing models to provide estimates of hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection rates over time. This will subsequently be extended to express the process of infection and viral clearance through treatment as a sequence of disease states through a multistate model.
