Our 2-day programme will include nationally and internationally renowned keynote speakers, parallel sessions, research awards, special interest group meetings, early-career researcher sessions, the Society’s Annual General Meeting, and opportunities to network and socialise (including UKSBM’s conference dinner, always remembered for its dancing!)

The UKSBM and University of Bristol are committed to improving sustainability and working towards net zero carbon. As part of this commitment, the proportion of animal-based products used in this year’s UKSBM conference catering has been reduced. This includes a 100% vegetarian lunch menu.

We also strongly encourage travel by public transport, the venue is very close to both Bristol city centre railway stations.
